French Vanoli brings authentic Indian Yoga to Galway

We are delighted to introduce Meenakshi (Meena); our new Yoga teacher. Meena is originally from India where she studied intensely at Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, one of the pioneer Yoga Institutes in India.

According to Krishnamacharya, the power of breath should be maximised in Asana practice.

Asanas promote good health, although in different ways compared to physical exercises, "placing the physical body in positions that cultivate awareness, relaxation and concentration". Through the practice of yoga asanas one puts the body into positions that are not often practiced in modern, everyday life and as such helps to maintain long term range of motion as we grow.​

At French Vanoli we like to blend the science of Yoga with day to day life.

The benefits of this are:
